These tracks are from a Greek band I have listened to a bit recently, they model their music on ancient Greek music and many of their songs are addressed to different Greek deities, using words from the Orphic and Homeric hymns. Daemonia Nymphe - Summoning Divine Selene www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6TTS_PHCCY&playnext_from=TL&videos=9JdrLT4ezvoDaemonia Nymphe - Nocturnal Hekate www.youtube.com/watch?v=m02dQFcxiA0&feature=relatedAnother singer I love is Azam Ali, she is Persian and some of her songs are inspired by Sufi concepts. She sings in several languages including Farsi, Urdu and English. This is a powerful song called The Hunt. www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUyFs3HBXc8Lisa Gerrard of Dead Can Dance sings in tongues (Glossolalia I think it is sometimes referred to as) and says she feels like she flies out of her body while she sings on stage. This song in particular I find very haunting, it is called Space Weaver and puts me in mind of the concept of a Star Goddess. www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQrIyF_R_kA

I lvoe the "We all come from the godess" chant and use it to focus myself in personal ritual.. I also use the make version as well.. ( same tune) "We all come from the horned god and to him we shall return like an autumn leaf, falling to the forest floor"..
Not sure where I heard this first but it was in ritual and has been used by a few groups I have been a part of )0(
